You're telling me. I am lucky to see even close to 2000 miles a week and most of my time seems to be spent getting their trailers fixed.

because he (the DM) wouldnt even pay the crappy $50 a day for breakdown pay. They argue with you over breakdown pay. Everything is an argument with them

I quit these jokers 3 years ago after 7 years of these games and not making a living that justified me being gone all the time. The rail gets your miles fellas. You won't make a living with these jokers. They have fired all of the good operations people and put these young, shaved head idiots in their places and they could care less about you. They wouldn't even get me home for blood pressure checkups, to the point my doctor finally booted me for missing too many appointments and I went without meds so much that it damaged my heart. I had to take 14 months off from work to recuperate. But, now I drive for Danny Herman Trucking. Most of our runs, unless you are relaying a load to get moving out of a terminal, are 1500+ miles. We run nice KW rigs with 1500 watt inverters and APU units for down time. They actually PAY the performance bonuses every quarter. They honor the vacation plan as well. Get this: they pay half of your medical deductible. So much more. Get away from the crap company USX and come work for someone who respects their drivers. 5 days for a PM was typical when I left. USX used to take my empty away from me at Tunnel Hill and hold me hostage there. They are just a terrible company to work for and I nearly starved because of them. NEVER again!!! come to the green side of the fence drivers. Talk to any Danny Herman driver at the truck stop and see for yourself. You won't meet many disgruntled DHT drivers, and if you do, they are isiots who aren't doing their job right. Call DHT. Tell them Mark Sovine sent you.

I wonder what us express is going to do with all those trailers that don't have them side skirts on them... As of January 1st are no longer allowed in California without the skirts on them... I guess they're going to lose all the California account they got oh well not like that company cares I left them here to go to there an absolute joke bunch of malcontent
