I also use T-Mobile with unlimited data + 9gb hotspot, its about $99 a month. I also have an app that lets you hotspot without using up your data cap. Most of the time I can get 4g LTE in the midwest and northeast. Most big cities are also LTE. The only places I have trouble getting a signal would be rural PA and all of WV.

What app? Can you guarantee that it works as advertised?

T-Mobile has definitely improved their coverage but the Northwest is still horrible. Montana, Wyoming are non-existent. That's why I have the backup. Also, I just did a run through WV and had no data coverage at all through T-Mobile. Couple miles back into Virginia and I did.

T mobile has very little coverage in WV for some reason. It's all roaming on ATT.

I noticed that Verizon doesn't have service in parts of Kentucky

Clockworkmod tether app for android or Foxfi. Both work the same, it uses the debugging mode to transfer data via usb cable without using your hotspot cap. It works very well as long as you keep everything up to date. I'm sure T-Mobile is going to catch on eventually and make an update to disable it, but in the meantime a $5 app is much cheaper than paying for extra gb's.

This is so true. I bought that truck vacuum and it lasted about 2.5 uses. I will never buy anything like that agin from pilot. As for Internet I just recently broke down and got the Verizon jet pack. I got to have Internet for not just entertainment but trip planning and weather. My phone wasn't cutting it, it was straight talk and the service was to unreliable.

    pattyj Thanks this.

What's the difference between "basic" and "premium"? Just speed?
