Hello Chinatown.. Henderson was an interesting experience. They are a great bunch of people for starters.. Also the one thing I need to just let people know who are considering henderson trucking for cdl training. There training is a mirror image of Prime's training except Prime is a CDL Mill to get people into there leasing program. While I knew that Henderson was in an advantage leasing partnership with Prime it goes far beyond that. Prime has taken over all of Hendersons customers. By all accounts and even from Hendersons own managers that Prime either already has or will be completing very soon the acquisition of Henderson/. That was my only issue as I will not work for Prime in any way shape or form. Yes they are getting in new trucks it seems like daily.. They get them from Prime. I will say that Henderson and the people I met there is a Class company. The people are great people and seem to really care about the people coming to join there organization.

 

Well you could go to Swift just to get experience and go somewhere else afterwards. Are there other companies you are interested?

 

Well Dutch Maid Logistics in NE Ohio and Nick Strimbu ( Akron Oh area I think) will help you get your cdl. Don't know how far away they are from you in Pa.

From the looks and sound of all this, if Prime does take over Henderson, it is quite possible that a lot of Henderson's drivers will be looking for jobs at other trucking companies.
