You're not kidding.... Whoever is teaching these newbies to travel the lane of least resistance should be fired as they are not teaching them correctly.....

As a truck driver you should always stay in the right lane UNLESS it becomes blocked, slowed down, or very much "resistance" then safely change lanes to avoid this, pass whatever the obstruction was, then move back to the right lane.

"Lane of least resistance" DOES NOT MEAN ride in the center lane and become the obstruction for every other driver..... Smh

Is it tough managing expenses when becoming an OP? Also what is required of DOT?

Yes, Schneider, especially down south likes to ride slow in the center lanes. I assume these are people with no brain that can't understand just because your company allows you to do 64mph or w.e doesn't mean the law says you're right. If the speed limit is 70 MPH, and I see the ugly ### orange truck in the center lane doing 65mph or what ever, I will gladly get in the right lane risking a ticket, get in front of you, slam breaks, and hope for that pumkin to pay me out my retirement cause oh my all my logs are clean and you slammed into me. Seriously I'm tired of those ####s.

I love how self entitled some drivers are. Slam on your brakes in front of a Schneider truck? Ignorant. And there's a reason it's called a "speed limit". It's legal to drive under the speed limit. If they are driving under the minimum speed then you'd actually have a point.

It's one thing for a driver to be considerate, it's completely different to sit in a center lane for no apparent reason. Why would anyone drive in the far right lane when there's constant merging traffic from on ramps and off ramps? Of course if the road is open you travel in the right lane but in heavier traffic situations it makes no sense to sit in the right lane (of a 3+ lane road), especially where there are a lot of ramps. And assuming it's heavy traffic why would you be driving 70 mph anyway?

Because the speed limit maybe 70+ and youre 64 mph feeling self entitled ### feels special to drive where it doesn't belong then why not? I have to slam on my break either way. Now if you don't like your governed truck, switch to another company.

Go ahead. Pull in front of me and slam on your brakes. I'll match my dashcam vs your mouth any day in court .
