Good morning guys/gals. This post is in reference to my drivers license. I'm currently unemployed due to the oil industry taking a dive and fracing not being as hot as it was 2 years ago. I live in NYC and would commute to Western PA to go to work. I'm not a slacker by any means. I'm in the process of getting my cdl but I'm a little sketchy as far as my normal drivers license is concerned. I've accumulated a few tickets and have had my license suspended due to unpaid tickets. Will that affect my getting hired in the future? Just wondering....
Needs license advice

It also depends on how many and how old the violations are. What's your MVR look like , if you don't mind my asking?
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Suspensions in the last 3 years for any reason are a big red flag, also the nature of the tickets can be a factor as well as their age.

Suspensions for unpaid tickets or FTA/FTP aren't that bad so you should be fine.
What are the tickets for if speeding reckless driving or DWI will disqualify you -
Speeding 5mph over

I'm going to go over to ABF and see if I can get on as a dock worker if I can't get into the driver school they offer. There is a school in Long Island but they charge $6000. I don't have that at the moment.
