Looking to replace an APU Unit

    Someone suggested using a portable generator like the Honda EU2000i and convert it to propane. Has anyone done this? I don't have the dough to get a new one right now but I need something reliable. What models do you recommend? Any thoughts on the ACEMCO?

    Is your truck propane powered. If it's not might limit you on tunnel restrictions and so on.

    If I wanted a generator, I wouldn't want to mess with propane.
    I would get either Gasoline or Diesel powered generator.

    What's the reason you want a propane generator.

    "Hurst" posted some pictures of his apu setup.

    Try an RV center; mayby they have something like they use in recreational vehicles.

    apucenter.com sells used apu's.

    I would recommend idling the truck when you need to.
