Watch "42 Keystone Fine Tuned CB Stryker 955 Mic Test with echo #1" on YouTube

That's pretty high fidelity right there and it was done by injecting a couple tones (he wouldn't disclose details) during the tuning process.
"What linear signal looks like." on YouTube

I like that Icom 703 by the way.

Reason for edit: I was mistaken about the single tone

Watch "Texas Star DX1600X Output Test" on YouTube

According to bells CB shop he thinks he can get 1600 watts out of a Texas Star DX 1600 X. If he put that on a spectrum analyzer he would see all sorts of harmonics which hinder the performance.

Do you have any pictures of a radio tuned on your bench?
Something along the lines of this picture.[IMG]

I have 2 radios from Bells CB.....Been very happy with the super clean audio and does not splatter other channels...Maybe they have different techs but Screwdriver talked to me on the phone for 20 minutes one day and sounded very professional. He setup my 98 VHP.

I just spoke to Mark and he said you are correct and I was mistaken for assuming otherwise.

I run through Carlisle every week....I may have to check Dave out at DTB.
I know there are 2 or 3 guys advertising on the radio in that area...
I think the guy at the Petro is the one that screwed up one of our drivers radios....it is over modulated and sounds like crap...So hard to find a good shop now days!

It was probably "Radio Man", the guy who camps out across from the J, that screwed up that driver's radio.

EZ Money and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
