The state would rather work with you than cause more grief (most of the time). If you talk to them and keep in contact, they will work with you. If you let it go, then that's where you as the person paying runs into legal issues.

Right .... so long as the one who makes the yes/no decisions regarding driver hire decisions is not another vindictive ex wife of some other guy. Good luck with those odds.MidwestResident, White_Knuckle_Newbie, Mudguppy and 1 other person Thank this.

If you stay single............your pockets will jingle

There are 3 kinds of women in America.
1 - those who are too young to have been married or monogamous with a man
2 - those who think men or "ok" in spite of their flaws
3 - those who think men suck in general, and their flaws are in-tolerable
Most of the people who approve drivers to come to orientation are women, so do the math ... considering, those who are too young to be employed in such a position are not in that position, you have about a 50/50 chance of being considered "acceptable" if you have some sore to issue involving child support or alimony payments, if that HR person happens to be female. And how many who approve/deny driver applications at larger outfits are male? Not that that should make a difference.MidwestResident Thanks this. -
i wasnt being completely serious with that comment. But MOST of the time they match the 'male' description.MidwestResident Thanks this.

True,.. but if you have kids and its not working out,.. its cheaper to keep her. At least till they are of age.
Either that or man up and pay the price. It cost me roughly $30k to get divorced and fight her in court to get custody. Oh,.. and I had to sign over my house on the bay in Chesapeake Bch Md.
So while she got hers in the end,. I went through hell and back before Karma decided to play her trump card.
As much as I would love to say I got screwed royally,.. we had a child together. It was still my responsibility to provide for my child. Doesnt matter that me paying child support afforded her the opportunity to pay for a new car. Who's to say that was my money paying for the car, had I not paid support and she had to bare the burden of the bills for my daughter?
If you dont want to pay for child support then dont have kids. You are going to pay one way or the other. The $680 month I paid in support was cheaper than what it cost once I actually got custody back.

I wish you well OP. I really feel for you and hope it works out. I dont have any advice for you. But just ignore the negative comments in this thread and know that justice is a universal concept regardless of the present laws at the time. What is happening to you is not fair, its not just, its BS and you shouldnt have to be dealing with it at all. Godspeed.
MidwestResident Thanks this. -

You should demand a hearing before a judge and give him your rejection letters. You should have your license reinstated in short order.MidwestResident and sevenmph Thank this.
