Get another doctor!!! Get a 2nd opinion at least. I have prostate problems and the first doctor had me lined up for frickin' sugery, I got 2nd opinion at Mayo - totally different, no surgery, 1 pill a day. Not all doctors are good and not all doctors are right. There are meds that will drop your BP in a day, then get on the diet & exercise plan to get off the meds. No reason to stop driving and making money.

 

I am also curious on the make and model of your truck.

 

Get with some of these guys and see if they can take over your lease ?

 

Why don't you aggressively focus on:
working out
Walking
Drinking lots of water
Monitoring progress

You can do all this while your on the road. Walk in the morning before pre trip. Walk for lunch. Walk for dinner
Take massive action on getting your bp down

 

all good , but day of testing one blood pressure , cut back on the water. Water will raise blood pressure , but will help flush out your system . You want to drink plenty , just not on test day.

 

This iz good advice. I've had two family members now that we drove to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN... totally different outcomes from what we were getting at home. They don't mess around and they absolutely know what they are doing. I'm almost convinced its worth the drive even for a head cold.

 

Should of had your "exit" strategy in writing prior to signing the lease,I know to little, to late for now,but it seems there are more questions on "opting" out than there is signing up.You will have to re-read your contract and see what penaltys are provided you for failure to complete the lease and if none are in writing,I suppose they will have the full law on their side to recoupe costs

 

Mayo is amazing, it is a medical machine. I had 2 doctor visits, blood tests, xrays and an MRI in one day, they don't mess around. It meant the cost of a hotel room and a day to drive there and a day to drive home but it was absolutely worth it.
