That's who shuttles trailers at CEVA terminals. CEVA owns not one power unit, yard dogs, straight trucks, tractors, all owner operators.

Hell they don't even own any property, it's all leased.

    Just ask @TruckDuo

Go for it. I would look for a 1999 or down due to the new elog ruling

    Do it!

I've got a similar plan in progress. I bought a '74 KW W900 that needed a "bit" of work. One thing led to another and it'll end up getting a ground up restoration. (Good news is that I'm pretty sure that the transmission is in good shape.) I'm looking forward to my first DOT inspection with no front brakes and a "wig-wag" low air warning.

Then I stumbled across a 2000 KW T800 that needed some motor work, got it very cheap, sidelined the '74 project and spent every night and weekend in the garage for the last 7 months or so. It's almost done, I've invested an estimated $12k in the truck. No debt, no emissions, less stress.

Look bro... Btw were the same age. I turn 27 in January. You gotta figure out what your plan is. Buy a beater... (old truck) who gonna lease too??? Most companies have a pre established age requirement. Build your credit... Use the 10Gs to put as a down payment. Cats are right. In 10 years the way ####s going you're project might be in parts on Ebay. You can view my thread in the Owner Ops section (Page 3 or 4). I bought a truck last year... Its been rough but you can paint a picture. At this time its, almost, being leased to a carrier with a minimum of 70%, you're better off. Look at all the ops on this forum giving up their numbers to lease.. Its tough out here and at the end of the year you dont want to be in the negatives for taxes... Spending more money then you make == #### near poverty... Salute... GL

I will, I'm just doing a whole new set up for 2016. I'll keep you in touch a month before to make sure you're prepared. You're a good guy.
