OK, I see the problem in your other post, gaps in employment. Some companies won't even consider you because of that.
Shouldn't have any problem with Swift or Western Express cdl schools.
I read Schneider has a cdl school in Gary, IN now. Don't know any details such as lodging & meals.
6 - 12 months with either company and you can go about anywhere you want. Keep it in perspective; get the cdl, then start shopping for the company you really want.
Apply to all 3 and see what happens.Last edited: Dec 31, 2015

If you have atleast 6 months expirience with any carrier, but a clean record and you know what you're doing, and you're not a coo koo guy, you can always find a smaller carrier that will take care of you. But to learn what you're doing is a must even if it's with Swift.
Lunchbox379, Chinatown and SHOJim Thank this. -
What about Prime?? I'd rather them then Swift. No offense to Swift drivers just not how I like to train. Or maybe just go to the crap school if no one else calls
-
Just go with Henderson if you're considering Prime, I've heard that Henderson can get you into Orientation quickly.

Well if I have to,I can go to this crap school that's close to me. Get my CDL,and drive bulk tanker with my father-in-law at the company he's at....I was hoping for freight and more truck experience before I did that. But money talks and my bills keep me up at night. I'll just have to train longer (fine with it) with his company before I get my own truck.
