5EK series 3406e model cat runs too cool on the oil,,sending unit has been replace and guage tested,,both good,,will only get above 160 if pulling heavy on a long steep grade,,water temps never exceed 206F,,EGT's never exceed 950F,,oil is usually between 125-140F on gauge,,doesn't seem right,,checked wiring, seems ok,,grounded temp sensor, guage moves to 250F

Sounds normal to me. Did you recently change water pump or oil cooler?

I dont know what temps are where your at. But cooler outside temps around 70 to 60deg. Your oil temp seams normal. For that engine.

    Is your engine braked saved?
    If so,then that's normal .
Cats with a brakesaver have a huge oil cooler.

If your water temps and EGT's are normal, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Cooler oil (to a point) is actually beneficial for it. Oil oxidizes much more rapidly at higher operating temperatures.
