Ok this is extremely ridiculous I got pulled over for 6 over was giving a warning cause there were no speed limit signs when I changed over from in county to the other anyways now it's showing up my psp report showing I had a ticket and also my mvr shows according to Schneider my license is suspended so I made some phone calls and found out this lady has no idea what she is talking about so I provided proof to her that my license wasn't it suspended now she is forcing me to prove that my ticket was a warning and all honestly I'm so fed up with dot and all the stupid regulations and Schneider is the only one having me do all this crap so I have came to the conclusion I'm not going with them and possibly getting out of trucking all together finishing up my windmill certs and going back to windmills I'm just sick of all these bs hoops that I have to do just to work for some sht company

Lol welcome to the trucking industry. It's a shame but warnings usually count against you. Better to make them write you a ticket so it can be fought in court. Enjoy the windmills.

Ya it's bs I mean I can still drive and everything it's just I'm tired of dealing with it and seems like their is a lot of ######### in the trucking industry I hauled crude oil for the last 2 years loved it and make bank but I think I'm done I'm burnt out on dealing with bs and tired of getting laid off in the oilfields and otr doesn't appeal to me seems extremely boring but I dunno I'm just pissed off right now and needed to vent I'll prbly still drive it's just bs how the system works to #### the drivers and everything favors corporate companies and the government to make more money off of everyone

Those rules don't favor companies either. You think Companies want to have to jump through those hoops? You don't think companies and recruiters want to hire drivers as fast as possible?

Take a look a bit higher on the chain, it is insurance companies, and elected officials pretending to protect the public to get elected.

Ur 100% correct but companies use to punish drivers that quit I have personally seen it happen to a driver they put something on a drivers dac that wasn't true this guy was their best driver they stated that he backed into a company truck and was terminated when this never happened their is no proof of it happening either and yet they were able to put it on this guys dac report he got it removed but had to fight it for months during this time the place he was leaving to go to turned him down and he was forced to not work for 2 months due to this

Yeah, I hate that crap too. But that's more of a "Company X was being a d1ck to Person A" situation. There probably could be some oversight for DAC though...

Things like the DAC are the monsters created by bad drivers though. All it took was a few guys lying about their past, their job history, etc... and a company gets sued after the driver gets in an accident because "the company should have known this driver had all these prior issues" before they hired him, so now the company is liable. Suing a truck driver doesn't get lawyers and plaintiffs excited. Suing a trucking company though? KA-CHING!

Doesn't mean that companies don't abuse it to get revenge on drivers they feel screwed them over though. However, most places look for patterns, so an otherwise perfect driver with a "1 time, 1 off incident" with no DOT reporting or paper trail? That seems like a fish story you are being fed. My company has pretty high standards, and that would never stop us from trying to hire a guy.

Yep, that's how warning work, not with in agreement with it, but that's why I will never accept "a written warning", will inform officer I'll take the ticket, you can fight a ticket, but not a warning, if officer say only a VERBAL warning then fine, no paper, no signature, but written warning! Not for this driver

I got a written warning in Oregon the other day for being overweight on my steer, raised my tag on accident on the entrance ramp to the scale house. She told me not to worry because Oregon does not turn in their warnings into who ever and only keep them in Oregons system. So in this case I think a warning is way better then taking a ticket.

Yeah I have a letter from dps saying its a warning had them email me one for some reason Schneider is stupid and couldn't tell if it were a warning or a ticket lol to me all these systems are stupid everything needs to be in one system and they need to do away with the dac in my opinion
