I think it will be more difficult for the dealer(s) and manufacturer to prove they are telling the truth than this class action to prove they are liars.

I did a KW factory tour here in Oz a few years ago before they released the MX, they had one on a stand in the training room. The engineer said the head was different to the Dutch DAF, but basically the architecture was the same. They were going to do extensive testing before they released it here.
Check out the video on their website, it's worth watching. Anyone would think it's the best invention since sliced bread. Cummins still outsells the MX here by a mile though.

That's what all these manufacturers need....to get sued. Maybe then, they will have the balls to stand up to the EPA and law makers since nobody else does.
We all keep buying all this over-priced junk that doesn't work, we all complain, yet nobody is fighting back?goin2fast10, Guntoter, oicu812 and 2 others Thank this. -
I had an MX in a 2012 and it nearly broke me. It was in the shop once a month on average. I gave up and got a glider. So far it seems to be a good decision. I don't think any of this new emissions crap will ever work right. The engines would get better fuel mileage without it, and produce less green-house gassed which cannot be removed from the exhaust. I thought the big panic was the green-house gasses, guess its not such a big deal after all.
I would like to take a tour of the engine plant where they make them though. I'd love to see how they turn perfectly good metal into garbage. -
BINGO! But there's a problem it seems to me Paccar is in bed with Washington and the EPA, just look at all the projects and experiments they have, supported by the EPA.

If there should have ever been a lawsuit it should have been against Daimler Benz over the mbe4000. It seems 1 out of every 20 people are satisfied with that hunk of crap. They lied about the HP rating & knew they were troublesome motors. It sucks that there's no lemon law for class 8 trucks, at least not in my state.
Guntoter Thanks this. -
Yes, plus I think they like selling us all the parts and service to keep them running, so it will never happen.
Even the dealer gets to make 80 bucks just to plug in to shut the engine light and derate off every time the def freezes or there is a sensor glitch.Guntoter Thanks this. -
Are you kidding? A $400 an hour law firm has already invested 1000+ hours in gathering discovery and preparing a lawsuit that was filed in Federal court..... And you think Im lying? Yeah, the 300 or so complainants are all willing to lie under oath.... Go away troll.Airborne, jason6541 and flightwatch Thank this.

This is not really a lawsuit about the quality of the engine, as much as its about lying and defrauding.jason6541 Thanks this.
