broker will not pay say they didn't receive bol

Did you get this load off of a load board?
Some load boards will resolve these disputes for you if you contact them and tell them what the broker is doing to you.

 

File lawsuit on the shipper and receiver and make sure in very large letters the broker name ,making sure they know who he is every phone call to shipper and receiver mention his name and broker name several times, go to rip off report and report this person name and broker names. several times

 

Not an experienced driver here but been on the back office side of business and I think this is pretty good advice. Especially about contacting the shipper and being a pest... A good company will not wish to deal with a broker that is dragging their name into the mud with him and being a persistent professional PEST can do wonders.

Oh and feel free to remind him that although he doesn't "accept copies" of originals that they are just as acceptable as the original BOLs in a court of law as evidence to support your claim.

Not suggesting we all need to run to lawyers with every greavance we have but reminding them of that fact might come in handy as you are being the PEST.

And remind the Shipper of that too... Professionally that is... You move their product... They might be willing to call the broker and help you out if they can avoid this silly game too.

 

The original BOL thing is BS. They are just stalling. Do what Stayingback says....call the bond holder and call the shipper and do it now.....and tell us who the broker is. And name them, complete with their MC# and the city they're from and also post them in the bad broker thread on this site. That's BS.
