I run solo and I'm in the green over 95% of the time. I could actually count on one hand the number of times I've been in the hole.

You pay $150K for that truck, and then need another $75K to own it?
Have some more Kool Aid my son:glasses4:

You can rationalize this any way you want. I pull a dry box on percentage. I'm taking a trip to Washington, leaving in an hour. In those three days I will have all my overhead paid, after fuel, and be $700 to the good for the week.

So you guys do the smart thing and keep freight rates down for everyone. Anything under a $2K week is unsatisfactory for me. I drive solo.

Just remember, once you drink the black blood of the Kali Marrr you go into dark sleep, and never wake up.

On cost of trucks from most companies, if you complete the lease you will have paid for the truck, but the lease will add a huge ballon payment, contact truck dealships and get quotes on same truck, take what your cost of just the truck payment add the ballon payment and see what the difference is, I've had some say "I don't want to own a truck, no warranty" I say to them, then why pay for it? Would you get a mortgage pay it off then give the house back? Because that is the same thing, if I pay for something, then I want the title, if I bout want to own a truck, then I'll sell it

Hmm, similarlly spec'd truck at lone mountain or even freightliner would run me $180,000 sticker price plus if it's financed at 8% over 5 years that truck would cost me how much? Oh yea that's right $218,985. I"ll have this truck paid for in the same time period and spend with interest on the high end $225,000 over the same 5 years. How is that drinking the koolaid you keep talking about? I mean if you are talking that I am spending $7,000 more then if I went to lone mountain, well you keep forgetting my lease payment includes all my insurance as well. So I would say I am coming ahead on this deal. But go ahead, keep saying I am drinking the koolaid. And the thing is I'll have this paid off in 4 years total based off my currentl progress.

AGAIN THIS IS A BUSINESS THAT HAPPENS TO HAVE YOUR OFFICE IN A TRUCK!!! TREAT THIS LIKE A BUSINESS AND YOU WILL SUCCEED. TREAT IT LIKE A DRIVING JOB WITH JUST A BIGGER PAYCHECK YOU'LL FAIL PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!

How do you have $2600 in expenses when you're gross is $3200? Are you running 3000 miles? Don't see how your expenses could be $2600 unless you're around 3000 miles

Well, I know a guy that will sell you a two year old Prime truck with 230K miles, more or less, for $110K. $7K down, $550 week, then it's yours. You have to run for him til it's paid off, you can buy it out at anytime.
Yes you are quite the business man.
    LMFAO.
Grape flavor bud, have a big glass.
I just stopped for my cup of soup at the TA on the back side of the Vine. Be safe drivers.
