Yes, since a Mac is still a "PC", meaning it's an Intel based machine it will run all window programs in an Apple program called boot camp but it's an either or option (must run Windows or OS X, not both at the same time) and one must then also buy the Windows program for the machine too which can up the cost of entry if one doesn't already have it set up.
Parallels is another option that allows you to run Windows as a virtual machine (I think) within the OS X system.
Both are viable options to run Windows based programs but neither are as good as a native Mac OS program but still doable. -
Hey, I missed ya too! LOL But I also know you go in spurts, cause you get busy.

Thanks for the information about the programs. I think most business software is still based upon windows. If anyone who owns a MAC decides to try the program, I would like to know if you were able to run it OK.

I appreciate it, bullhaulerswife. I guess I have been going a little in spurts. While I have not been running as much, when I run, I seem to be in a hurry to get where I am going and not have too much time to post. loldca and bullhaulerswife Thank this.

Times are a changing... IBM just made a major change to Macs after their new deal with Apple... That's IBM, the creater of the "PC" before the Clones came out.
Not that there isn't room for two OS and Windows still has a very safe and comfortable lead so it's a Win/Win for all. -
Apple dropped the ball early on and decided to concentrate on the hobby or home market. They have been trying to keep up ever since. They do make a good computer for doing designing work. All they really need at this point is more business applications and a smaller price tag. I am glad to know that they are now partnering with IBM. Perhaps that will open their markets into more business applications. Thanks for the info. I think it can be somewhat problematic when you have more than one operating system. It would be great if both were 100% compatible so everyone would have what they want.

That made me giggle...
Thanks for the laugh...
Good to have choices in the market place for all views and needs... Have a great weekend!!!
