Yes but why not be ahead of the game and take it now because that will be one less thing to worry about once you start school.it's either take the test now and get it over with or study while attending your first week in school and take it then.call your school and see what they recommend.bet they'll say the same thing I did.

Best wishes. Smart move to get your career started early.

Corrigan Moving Systems hires from MI cdl schools. Might get on there as a drivers helper.
You won't have any problem finding something to tide you over until you're 21 yrs. old.

Just have to stay within Michigan until you are 21. Look for local delivery jobs, construction, Dairy, etc. Anything to get you moving.

I joined the Army at 17 because that was really my only option for Driving. I am from Delaware and if you drive more that 15 miles in three directions from where I lived you would be in three different States LOL

Michigan has a little more room.

I made some deliveries to Delaware when the auto plant was there; think maybe it was Ford. Could get high in the guard shack if you breathed deeply; the security guards always had a blunt going. Don't know how they got away with it, but they were really good guys to deal with; not a bunch of jerks.

We had two Auto Plants... Both of which Shut Down when the Govt Bailed out GM and Chrysler... Lot of good it did having Biden as VP... No Ford plant though.

May have been either of the other, but as a side note, Bob Marley once worked at the Chrysler Plant in Newark, so I would maybe give the edge to that one LOL.
