Im new to this but how about hooking a camera to the back of the trailer?
-
Thanks for taking the time to save a guy some time searching. Been meaning to do this on my Pete and my wife's Pathfinder.....just ordered 2 of each!
-
Road spray would be a challenge as Cnsper mentioned but also I am not sure if you can make the cables that long. Maybe you can I don't know but that is a long run. They make wireless units as well but I am not sure how reliably they will work at that distance either especially with the obstructions in between them.
-
My cameras transmit a "wireless" signal to the monitor but they require 110v AC power so you'd need to hack up an extension cord to the back of the trailer. Range is no problem
-
the wiring is the part I was trying to figure out. If you had the same trailer you might run it through the lighting wire the blue wire in there that is not used I think.
-
No that wont work it has more than one wire going to the camera
-
Blue is your abs wire it's hot all the time.
