Everything is relative in the market. Either prices of everything else will coincide with fuel and the rates will increase (the bottom feeders can't run forever) or oil, due to over-supply and reduced demand will swoon.

Maybe, but the public is tired of the situation at hand and blaming Bush for everything is just plain ludicrous.

Bush inherited a swooning market and as much as the libs like to blame him for the economic ills and give Clinton kudos for the the longest Bull market in history, they're wrong. The market is a "living, breathing entity" It must slow down and "catch it's breath" on occasion and then come back up to run again. What the POTUS can do to help an ailing economy is cut taxes (that encourages growth) and limit spending (that saves taxpayers money).

Here is a good idea for our leftwing congress, listen to your constituents most of us voters have worked for a living and understand the effects of supply and demand. Most of us also understand what happens when the gov't starts putting their grimmy fingers in the equation and tries to control it ,higher prices and higher taxes and another bureau or department of what ever. Remember Jimmy C. and his policy ? The energy crisis went magicaly away and gas prices fell when Ronnie deregulated USA oil exploration.

Review your facts. Price controls were put in place by Nixon. Not removed until Reagan.

I agree, but when you cut taxes and don't control the spending, you get what Bush gave us.

    Exactly.

You can't implement one without the other.

I'm no shill for Bush, he has pizzed me off many times especially on the border issue. But the public has to ask themselves, what would have happened had Gore been in office on 9-11? And don't try to tell us that Gore would have prevented it from occurring, it was already underway even before the elections of 2000.

You know, I have always wondered how it would have been if he had won the election. However, it would all be speculation and I really don't believe the outcome of the event would be any different. The liberal mentality would be the same for the war if they were in charge possibly. Like I said, pure speculation.

Yes, the planning of 9-11 was indeed made over a long period of time. Both parties missed the signs of the event in my opinion.
