Most companies put "other" on DAC report when listing driver performance when fired. Don't tell potential employers any more than they can find out. Get your hire right report for free look it over then go from there. You might be telling them stuff that isn't even in there. Good luck! Been there.

Good advice. The person interviewing you is not your friend; they're trying to have you reveal things they can't legally ask.

I've been hauling sand local and was wanting to stay local. Sand, Intermodal.. Mainly something with good benefits and good equipment.

They are probably slow and looking to downsize without having to pay unemployment. Sounds like the case to me....

The application asked if I was fired or resigned from my last job. When I selected fired another window opens up asking for a explanation and if it was safety related. Then I called another carrier and did the pre qual over the phone. The 3rd question was essentially the same. Then she said good luck and call us after 12 months of incident free driving. So yes I am owning it.

I turned in trucks at couple different companies. My exit papers at Transam list me as being fired even though I quit and gave 2 week notice.
I think that fired or quit is a grey area thst depends on which side you're on.
