World ending in 2012

    Saw on the news a story that World could possibly end in 2012 :biggrin_2551:So I googled it and came up with lots of theories and such. (not sure how to do that link thingy so didn't link) Anyway, a lot of them made sense but now I'm depressed dang it! :biggrin_25513: They said to possibly find an area and prepare for survival:biggrin_25524: How in the heck can you do that when you're not sure what's going to hit! or where??? hmmmmmm. all I know is I'm planning on moving to the beach in two years and if that happens I only get two years to enjoy it!!! Dang it:biggrin_255: Plus thought it might make a good topic of discussion! I'm off to eat all the fattening food I can find, might as well :yes2557:

    Well that's when the Maya calender ends... Nobody has a clue why they stopped at 2012 and some speculate that it says the end of the world..

    Who knows? the way the world is going right now with all the conflict maybe it is right....

    So the Mayan calendar stops in 2012. So what? I mean, the Mayan era ended in what, 1960 or something? Or was it before then?:biggrin_2554: Has anyone even considerred that maybe they just ran out of paper??     I do love the theory that the Aztecs were so far developed that the 2012 must be the end
    LOL
    They pretty much self destructed via the Spaniard's and family clan wars
    So I don't take much credence in their date
    It is interesting that the bible talks about the end of this system of things not the end of the earth
