Jim Palmer trucking

Allie is quite resourceful and informative. I've watched nearly all her videos. She is quite entertaining through her videos, her tweets, her web page, and her facebook account. I just wonder if all the miles Allie gets is representative of the miles that all of Jim Palmer's drivers cover each week?

 

That's the thing I am unsure of. I do sometimes wonder if she gets slightly better treatment because of her youtube channel and the potential good publicity it could bring the company. She makes mention of talking to her dispatcher about getting her through all 48 states in a short space of time as a personal accomplishment and the dispatcher trying to help her achieve it. Just doesn't sound like the typical dispatcher/driver relationship you tend to hear about.

If it works for them both, then more power to them.

 

No offense to her, but she's a rookie driver that's already had multiple jobs at different mega carriers . I would not pick a company based on her videos.

 

3 jobs in two years in the OTR world isn't that bad is it?. One of those was for a small owner op that folded so can't really pin that on her.

Unless you know any different she started with USA truck, left to do flatbed with an owner op and only went to Jim Palmer after the things went downhill with the owner op so really just 2 mega carriers.

Do you know of her working at other megas?.

 

I wish I could find more information about this company. A few of the pages on their website are under construction and there's not a lot said about them on this forum.

 

Allie is a good ole girl and I would preg her. She is no Ike Stephens tho.

I don't know anything. I've just been looking around at companies too and came across the same problem with JPT.

The above is the blog site of a Jim Palmer recruiter. Comes across as forthright and open when she appeared in some Allie Knight videos. She would probably be a good place to start if you wanted more information than is available on the website.
