There are a lot of drivers that are looking for work that would like to do your job, as the saying goes " Suck it up Butter Cup " ya, you can talk to your boss but to much whining and you will get what you want, with another company.

Well what is the problem, are you getting paid fair wage to be a yard driver?
Are you home then after the day?
Or is it you just don't like have to get your lazy arse out and crank dolly handles and back up the truck into docks and drop spots

When you hired on, you agreed to give your heart and soul "for the cause". Right ? One alternative could be for you to go home that day without pay. You don't want that, right ? Yard work is easy really. The soda machine is right there as is the restroom, plus you can flirt with the office ladies while on break. When the shift ends, you're out of there and down at the local bar/happy hour, so it's all good ! :banghead:

One of the best job that I did while with Overnite was jockeying trailers. No shipper or consignee to deal with, no idiots and traffic to contend with. 99% of Overnite trailers had roll up doors, so I didn't even have to get out and walk back to close and seal the doors.
