Lunch break at Whiskey Pete's Resort Casino on the NV/CA line. Might play a few bucks on the slots before we go, depending on how long it takes to eat--time is kind of a priority today.

Mid-90's Grand Sport, yes? Very nice!Captain Zoom Thanks this.

Now if you could work for Bay and Bay, you would get a red Cascadia with a Bose seat, from what a driver told me.
Worst thing on a stock FL seat is the suspension is not easy to lubricate, and is a little on the loose side.
Cushion will be routed from nearest parts depot, as long as it was something for which FL provides parts and service.Captain Zoom Thanks this. -
Bose seating...dang. Dart is offering that now from what I've heard.
Simplest thing for me is to find a good butt cushion. Tried one of those super gel things but it wasn't really comfy for me on a good seat. Might be different on that granite slab I've been using in this truck.
Last driver must have been Shrek or Chewbacca.25(2)+2 Thanks this. -
Played $20 on slots, lost $10 then cashed in with The Hot Chick standing right there.
Which means I lost $20. -
Really weird but I helped my friend the former head mechanic replace a broken cushion, and the guy who drove it was nicknamed Shrek because he resembles the character.
That was the 2nd cushion replaced, then they put him in another truck , and now he is driving the truck last driven by Tiny, who was about as far from that as a human can get.
Tiny now works for someone else.Captain Zoom Thanks this. -
Are you able to deliver the load early?
-
Yep. Delivering tomorrow, then picking up right there for Mon morning delivery around 90 miles away. Then--whatever.

I know a guy they call Shrek, lives in Mississippi, recently retired from trucking. He's a big boy too. He and his fiancée were doing okay at Celadon but after 25 years on the road the little things were bugging him too much and he decided to hang up his keys. He's currently studying to get his PI license so he can be a really big Magnum or Marlowe. Probably the latter since he won't fit in a 308 so well.
He's a good ol' boy but sharp as a tack; he'll do pretty well. Especially since he knows everybody on his County sheriff's department.
