howdy!

I can't remember if I posted a hello thread, ha. But if I did a little update then..

December 7th I started a 6 week cdl course. 2 in class. 4 on concourse/road. It's going well, I got the driving down, can drive well in a heavily traveled metro area with very few problems. Still need to remember to stay wide a little longer during right hand turns.

Backing, ha now that's like Latin to me. Ha. I cannot seem to put my 45 degree into that gosh forsaken alley! Oh well, I'll get er done soon.

Pre trip, well I got most of it down, I'm just learning the actual phrasing of the trailer pretty much.

But anyway, I look forward to shooting the breeze with ya fellas and maybe sometime on the road hitting up the diner at a truckstop.

Thanks! Instructors leave the same kinda comments in my grade book. But gear recovery is a tad hard for me, I don't lose it often at all but when it happens it definitely happens haha. I feel confident in saying I'll be just fine.

 

Yeah I'm going with either us express or werner. Was going to go with crst until my student loan was approved. (CRST had company sponsored training for like 2 weeks) but this class I'm in is 6 weeks plus I won't be contracted to anyone.

I still have choices but us and werner are my two tops atm Altho I already have well over 5 pre hires. Fixing to get 5 more sometime soon.
