Walmart here I come!

Tomorrow is last day out with mentor I have learned so much and although a bit nervous I'm ready to go out on my own......this is such a fun job! In 4 days we've ran 2,000 miles with lots of drop and hooks

 

How long after your pretrip and driving tests does it take to hear if you have been hired?

 

Depends on how fast your previous employers respond. I've heard as little as 2 weeks, but a buddy of mine it took about 8 weeks before he heard anything.

 

i did my pretrip and roadtest on a Thursday morning and i got the final call for the job offer on monday afternoon . It took 4 days for me.

 

It took about two and a half weeks for me.

 

Well had an awesome week out with the mentor who just happens to be the Walmart grand champion in the truck driving championship last year!!!! I learned a lot and picked everything up fairly well I think......go out in morning on my own so I shall see I can't wait! Ended up with just under 2500 miles last week which is good.
