    It will now be interesting to see how many of the cross-Canada truck drivers are eligible to cross the border into the USA. Unless the Nipigon River Bridge upheaval was simply a failure to do the seasonal cable adjustment it could be out of commission for a while.

    Yes, that's what I was thinking. I wonder how many Canada only drivers thought they'd need their passports just to get to Manitoba from Toronto. Not to mention In-Transit forms.
    I always thought they should have punched the highway through from Long Lac over to Dryden above Lake Nipigon.

    There will also be issues with weights and dimensions for some Canadian trucks that are now stranded on the highway that wish to turn around and detour through the USA.
