I've got over 150 pages of my own misadventures written.. and an editor interested. I've been keeping a journal since my hubby started driving.. and even without rewrites for "artful form" it is freakin funny!

I'm just one of those idiots that's always in the wrong place at the right time for goofy crap to happen. It's a curse. My best friend (fiend?)is going to sign up on here when he gets back in and get's his laptop cleaned up.He runs long haul for a dump outfit and we ran together for awhile. He'll tell you in a heartbeat that insane crap happens around me almost constantly. He's one of those huge good natured guys that just stands back and laughs at the melee nonstop...In fact,he instigates a lot of it.In fact,I ain't even sure I like him now that I think about it.:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

hrm.. why not select an editor, get permission, and publish stories from the board? Mule is funny as hell, but he's not alone. He's just off in the corner doin' thing we'd best not be thinking about.

'Course, no way to really share money that way. Could donate it all to Ma Skinner's Home for Unfortunate Clowns or some thing like that

Or donate it to the Jay Sensing (that's me :)) midlife crisis and I need a 20 year old bombshell girlfriend and a vette fund.

It's tax deductible and I hear that Jay guy is a hell of a dude.

    Muleskinner and Lurchgs Thank this.

well, I was originally thinking of the Save the Lurch fund... but truck drivers as a whole are a conservative lot, and unlikely to save ANYTHING. So.. I suggested something a bit less obnoxious (carefully avoiding Mrs Skinner's boy, you notice)

Still, it strikes me as something with potential

We'd just have to agree on the charitable dispensation.

It would be great to read a book or books of tales of the open road. I have read many stories on this post that would great in a book. Some of them so funny that i had tears running down my cheecks from laughing. Thanks for sharing your stories with us. :smt024

I tend to see the quirky side of things anyway and I laugh pretty easy at myself.Easily amused I guess you'd say.
