I fired mine. Just went in and had a chat with my team leader. Later on that ICA quit SNI. My new ICA is a trip. She should have retired 10 years ago. If she does send out a message, can't make heads or tails of it as she has a problem spelling or just types faster than her brain can handle. So, I just deal with my leader directly.

My ICA is awesome, I've never had any real issues with him. And if anything does come up i call and get it figured out, hes pretty chill

Helpful? no. Not the least bit helpful.
Likes to threaten to remove loads from drivers if they don't respond to him in a specific time. Of course, everyone has to get these messages multiple times, rather than sending to the drivers who actually need the messages.
Back before Christmas, I was leaving Laredo with a load to Wilmer, where I was picking up another load to get me home for the holidays. A message popped up, and rather than drive until my planned stop, I decided to stop and check it at the rest area north of Laredo. The message was to inform me that I was being removed from my load that was taking me home. After 30 minutes of waiting to get the ICA on the phone, it turns out that I was going to be removed from the load because we had delivery problems with this customer, and he needed to know that I was going to deliver on time. On no planet, does this make sense. I assigned the load to myself, accepted the load on the QC, and updated the ETA's. Load wasn't going to be ready until after 1600 (open pickup until 2359) that evening in Wilmer, and had a 24 hour drop window the next day just 350 miles away. Needless to say, that resulted into a bit of a heated argument. I was a bit more aggravated by this because the stopping to call and losing almost 45 minutes caused me to have to stop again before Dallas to take a 30 minute break before dropping, and ultimately dumping into rush hour traffic trying to get through Dallas with my load home, all because of one really dumb move by this guy. I never did understand the mentality of just trying to remove me from the load, without ever even sending a message asking to verify that I would deliver on time, or simply looking at my ETA.
My feeling is that might be struggling to get out of DBL mode. I own a truck because I don't want to deal with bosses, LOL. -
This is how it was with my former ICA (Cindy). Never heard from her at all, and rarely from my ICR. Still almost never hear from my ICR

Thats the stuff you document. Then have it available to present during a little face to face with his boss present. Or just email it to the bosses and throw him under the bus.Grijon and Home_on_wheels Thank this.
