Really?like what type of sap wouldn't be recognized ? To the op,to be on the safe side you better ask sap if they re affiliated with Fmcsa.

Was this a preemployment drug test? If so you should not need a sap because you were not in a safety sensitive position at the time so dot/fmcsa should not be involved

That information is not 100% accurate. While its true some pre-employment tests are like that not all are. I know a guy that had a positive on his pre employment test and it went right on his DAC. It depends on the carrier and how they do the UAs.

To the OP while this is not a flame I think you really need to determine if you want to be a bonghead or a truck driver. Keep up the drugs and you will always have a smoking hot DAC and be unemployable.

Good advice, I have heard stories of companies threatening to put things on a dac to scare you and not actually doing it.

Fantastic advice not only for the OP but every truck driver. You should always get a copy of your DAC starting at least 6 months after you change jobs. As far as threats go, if its from operations maybe, but if its from safety you can rest assured the chances of a DAC report is very good. Its been my experience that those that make threats don't, but those that don't do.

1.Yes it was a preemployment..pretty nice gig too.
2.rubber to pavement and traveling gives me a much more rewarding high than mary. it was fun while it lasted, but this is a new stage in my life
3.my mvr is clean as a baby's bottom. always has and always will be.
4.ive been turned away from some of the megas. but then again i did admit my mistake on the application so. but they always have a hire right release..but..they made it clear that it was going on my dac, after having me wait in the lobby, i guess deciding what to do? could have been worse?i donno from what ive read on trucking forums usually putting something on someone's dac is a metaphorical middle finger.
    5. if i were to decide to go with a non dac company, does anyone know any comanies that will take 6 mo box truck experience and an otherwise clean record. im looking for ~15/h as theyre paying me 10 at my current employer.
