Wow, thanks Dipchitt for shering the spred sheet. It looks like your personal income was $27k, correct me if wrong.
As a 2nd year OTR company driver, I grossed $50k in 2015. I'm not sure how well I did compared to others. -
Shooting for a personal income around 23k myself. Might be difficult to hit that number though.
-
Actually, it should be less than $10k after I fund my SEP........workin' towards zero. Quick question, brother......do you know, roughly, how much Amazon has made in quarterly (or annual) profits since it's inception? Second question.....do you know what it's founder is worth?
Sometimes, math can be a funny game.redoctober83 Thanks this. -
They have earned at or near the stated goal in the business plan.
Question 2. Alot is the answer. -
I'm afraid I don't know the answers. I'm not trying be nosey about your finances, I'm am in the early stage of R&D about owning a business. And I want to figure out how much personal income I might earn for my family (W2 form). $100k seemed far fetched, but if I was starting out on my own $50k would be great the first year. (To meet family expenses.)

50 k is doable just be willing to adapt to the market and freight changes.
100k is a stretch in today's market but not impossible.
Key is to remain flexible and adapt and overcome.
However I don't need any more competition so you're probably best to go to Swift or even JB....... just a rhought. LOLPoleCrusher and mickeyrat Thank this. -

I'm not Amazon, obviously, but my point is / was, you can earn a good life and it still looks stinky on paper.
As an aside......yep on #2.Home_on_wheels Thanks this. -
Can they still lease a 2005 truck?
-
Best to call and ask on that one. My guess is that it would depend on the truck, but you should get an answer from SNI on that one instead of our guessing. Unless anyone has first hand knowledge, then I stand corrected. I do that a lot...
