Wow $500-800? Just an fyi about me. I charge $100-200 per load and most of that goes to the company. How I do the rate. I quote $800 on a $1000 load. You say ah man can you work on the rate? I say best I can do is $850.
Then you take it or leave it. If I really need to move the load I will go up to $900.
I am not out to screw the drivers, I could have made more. I move loads that go coast to coast with the shipper paying $7000. Do you know what I charge? $200-100. -
Now tell us your name, so we can start calling you!jacquesi23 Thanks this.

it is used to spot mobile homes, with that on the back , you can only hook to something with a 2 5/16ths ball, so i would think theres very few sacremento to atlanta mobile home moves. i used to have a yellow one like that , called a housekat.

Most of the folks hauling that cheap are probably not going to be reading any type forum disscussing rates. They've got one foot on a banana peal and one foot in the grave. That Ohio valley bunch have been bottom feeders for many years
rollin coal and Ruthless Thank this. -
crappy rate sounds like some broker sandbagging

This is why I argue for detention. Every day you hold us up, costs US money! I used to ask for detention. These days, I demand it. We aren't hauling a ###### thing for $1.03 a mile. EVER! That's the first people who would detain us for hours, and still expect an early delivery.spax Thanks this.

How many loads do you really get like that? We would never take a load to Miami, because nothing comes out. We never sit in a truck stop for a day. I've watched many a guy lose a truck. (They were even more literate than you!) I'm only second generation and not nearly as smart as you, but we won't take $1.03 loads, either.
