Keep your eyes open for friction mats. I used to have several that I found in various places. Found a roll of 10 or so next to a trash can at a Pilot in the Carolinas. They work great for corner protection.

I haven't been lucky enough to find any of those that aren't covered in piss/mud or crumble when handling them.

Your roll stock haulers will be where they came from. I see them all over the area of our customers from otr drivers just chucking them on the ground. Like dude! You can upcycle that mat for your use or sell/give to a flatbedder.

We just bring ours back to the yard and they stock pile em and bring em all to a local paper company.
I've used a couple on my hard wood floors at home to protect and keep furniture from sliding. Or the 10x10 rug from sliding on the wood.

    Back on topic!

    Yeah! Rubber mats work.
