Hello everyone, I am doing research for a school project, and I am trying to find out what truckers listen to while they are on the road. Do you listen to the radio: AM, FM, XM, or Sirius, CDs, audio books, or just the roar of the engine and the hum of the open road. Thanks

Audio books.
Music from the 70's and 80's.
Definately not country. -
Hubby goes nuts without his XM radio. He really does enjoy the variety on there. Some times he listens to music, other times he listens to the talk radio shows, and then his favorite, the comedy channels. LOL

I listened to Sirius, no specific channel... The other hobby would be to listen to all the morons on the CB...

My husband listens to his Ipod. It has everything from country to heavy metal to oldies.

sometimes I listen to CD's, sometimes plain old radio, sometimes nothing.

I have my Ipod hooked to a Drive+Play unit and I listen to podcasts of talk shows, car talk, audio books, and lectures in history. Now that the nights are warm, I sometimes shut it off and roll the windows down as I drive through the Sierra at night...listen to the engine, the tires, and my heart beat.
