It took about a month to be able to do it reliably, down and up, after I was fully comfortable double clutching. It's helluva lot easier to float now than it is to double clutch.
Practice, practice and more practice and you'll be floating with the big boys and saving that left leg. Heh
Happy trucking. -
I never use the clutch.

I-shift doesn't have a clutch pedal to depress.

We had some old Ford F700 tractors at Pepsi when I worked there that had 5 speed/2 speed rear ends that were so worn out you could single clutch like a car or double clutch/float like a big truck and it would shift all the same.

How many of you brake with your left foot? Everyone that rides with me looks at me like I have two heads.
It's a habit I got into years ago when I was hauling heavy here in Michigan. Leaves my right foot to play with the gas so I can downshift while braking in a curve or corner.JReding Thanks this.
