DirectTV is on all trucks now.

You probably average ~2.5k miles per week over a month period or so. I've had truck problems that I'm just getting out from under though. But it will depend where you end up... get stuck in the NE and it'll hurt a bit, stay mid-west where you can turn the key and ride around with it on the floor for 11 hours and you do pretty good.

You can work a year straight On Duty, Not Driving. You just can't drive until you take a 10 hour break.

But aren't you now just basically asking for a guaranteed weekly pay now like some companies are doing?

Finally able to avoid that mess going west through Wyoming. That's Elk Mountain.

Looks like the ocean, waves that froze in motion! Not that it's something you want to be dealing with driving a big rig (though hopefully the roads are plowed frequently ), but snowfall does make the landscape more scenic. Be safe!

Can you request to stay in the mid-west? Like do you have any control over where you are running or do you just go wherever they tell you?

Heh, I wish. Maybe if you go L/P or whatever.

I just left California with the most screwed up load I've ever had. Sitting for a swap in AZ now.
