I have a load. It's the only reason I would go there. As for how often, I guess enough to support a terminal in Winter Haven, but more than that, I don't know.
My new, final resting place

I'm just going to copy/paste what I just wrote on my Facebook page because I'm very tired and even lazier.
This day started out not good, it moved forward not good, and it's still not good. Even the new food at Denny's was a disappointment.
There was one bright spot - singing Happy Birthday to my daughter, which I do every year - but that was it.
I look forward to a better day tomorrow. -
It'll get better double D. Just hang in there.

And the paycheck showed it. 1200 miles this week. That's what bad fuel filters, extreme cold weather, and a no-idle policy will do. And then there was the call from Safety about the recorded "event."
I'm on a 34-hour reset because I missed my appointment time (today at 1900) and they pushed it out to Saturday at 2100. Finding a place to park anywhere near Orlando, Florida, at 2200 or so on a Saturday should be fun...
Not. -
you can blame an idle policy if you want
but i run out of Green Bay too am in MN every week
sat thru -35 in Laramie
haven't gelled fuel in 4 years
never even add howes until it is below 10
UNLESS I am fueling below I 80 where I can't be assured they are treating the fuel -
About 30 hours into a 34-hour reset and I'm always ready to get moving. So it is today. The only thing different this time is the uncertain weather. I'll be heading south to Orlando tomorrow, but the weather is changing here...snow has started to make its presence known and I've read of colder temps down south.
Then there's whatever comes after it. My DM didn't give me a weekend preplan to commit to as he normally does before he leaves for the weekend, so I hope that doesn't mean I'll be stuck at our Florida terminal. Could happen, though... -
Gasp.....Stuck in FL. What is the world coming to?
Flatbed Valkyrie Thanks this. -
Yea I'm in Tennessee. Stuck at a TA in Nashville. Can't get out of the parking lot its so jammed up. I did hear the roads are clear.

mitrucker Thanks this.

And home for the night...at least...at our terminal. Still no plan and the weekend folks don't do that, so I guess I'll see what they have for me Monday, eh?
