Yes, Virginia, the $120 does go towards pay down.

My schedule is all in the lease. If I don't like the interest charges, prepayments can be made. My interest is 16% (edit:annual rate), right on the front page, compounded weekly. Nothing was hidden.

$98k and change on truck value and I'll pay just under $122k at payoff. It called interest.

What you are spreading is very disingenuous.

    TA

PS. And I think your numbers aren't right. That $120k truck should come out about $170k at payoff.

    Pps. Sounds like sour grapes.

Quite a few of us just like the company and the way we are treated here. It is a team effort. I have never been told "You will do this!" they always ask "Can you do this?" I for one dont want to own this Evo I have, and a year or so I will be able to get a KW or Pete. BTW I know 8 drivers that did get the title. You have to remember that most drivers dont stick around a company long enough. Most dont have the temperament and discipline to make a lease work.

...look at your payments...and then look at your remaining balance ....the payments you make versus the balance does not add up...then take the $120 per week off and then it adds up....they sell the truck to you for $155k....before interest. ..you can buy the same truck at freightliner for $124,900...and then there's the fuel...they are getting the fuel at good price and only giving you a nickel off...for instance ...TA in North Bend, WA is $2.76 per gallon...but since it's ta you aren't getting a discount and JAT is paying $1.63 per gallon....they are making $1.13 per gallon that you buy..

Every large company gets a discount...and most of them pass it on to the driver...except JCT

You have $25,000 to put down and the good credit to get financed? No? Then your argument just fell flat on its ###.

Not everyone is as awesome as you and has great credit and a wad of cash burning a hole in their pocket.

Jct is a viable option for those without other means.

Just curious, are going to #####, piss and moan about the interest you would have to pay on that loan from the dealer?

I understand your anger, but just because of bad credit doesn't mean companies have the right to screw you over...and if I knew how to post a pic on here I could show you what a fuel discount is supposed to look like instead of the nickel that JCT gives...
