How to open tank fairings on a KW T660 for battery check

I am trying to access my battery box and ive tried to find a latch or lever under neath but no luck so far, anyone familiar with this?

There is no latch... 3 bolts in each step on drivers side, I think it's 17mm.

That'll do it. Open hood, remove bolts. Box underneath. Make sure you lube em when you put it back together.
