Ok i went to school through a company in July of 2013. I passed got my CDL and everything done. I got picked up from the terminal by a trainer. We had a load from California to North Carolina then a load from North Carolina back to California. We went through Little Rock stoped at a truck stop and he told me to get my things and get off the truck. He apparently quit the company and left the truck at the truck stop. I called the company and they said i would have to find a way to the nearest terminal. I was low on money and didn't have a way to do that. Luckily my mother lived in Arkansas. So she came and picked me up. I wasn't to thrilled that the company wouldn't help me out. So fast forward two months i go to orientation for a different company. I make it 3 days before i had an emergency at home. My Grandmother who i was sharing a place with got real sick. So fast forward to now. I plan on moving up to Nashville in September when my lease is up at the place i am currently staying at. My question is- are there any companies that would hire me considiring i haven't drove a truck in 3 years and have little to no exprience since i got my CDL?
Hiring ?

You need to get ahold of Chinatown on here.

Your first company sounds like a joke your trainer left you stranded in Arkansas sounds like a country song. Got family in Malvern and Magnet Cove where you from?

Western Express right there in Nashville.Flatbed coast to coast/dry van eastern states.
Freymiller has a "Restore Program" for drivers that have been off the road for a lengthy period of time.
R.E. West in Lebanon; a surburb of Nashville. Driver unload/assist unload mostly hot water heaters. Coast to coast.
Personally, I like Freymiller; refrigerated coast to coast running. -
Freymiller website shows 6 mos. experience required, but that's not correct. They hire cdl grads with no experience. Do the online application and follow with a phone call in a day or so.
Do the same with Western Express & R.E. West if interested in them. -
I am from El Dorado. Crap town lol

I am shocked that company told you to just abandon that piece of expensive company property with a load on it? Just up and leave. I know you were just a trainee but you were still an employee. Then the trainer just puts you out no explanation? I also have never heard of a training company just abandoning a trainee like that either. I am sorry sir but that dog don't hunt. I stopped reading at that point.Sneakerfix Thanks this.
