My cousin was taping this truck yesterday in Ohio, because he didn't think the back axle looked right, than this happened.

Looks like the suspension fell out of it on the corner. How'd the driver fair?
-
Thankfully Driver not hurt.Straight Stacks Thanks this.

Frame and suspension definitely parted ways. That's a scary ride.
-
that dump truck just missed being a part of it in a big way too.
-
Yipes! Did he try to radio the driver?
-
I don't think that little over the line and than the swerve that came after it to avoid the oncoming truck helped anything but why the hell did the frame part from the axles ?
Wow those things are top heavy
Is it me or what ? To me it just looks like too much speed into the corner with a top heavy load.Last edited: Jan 23, 2016

Top heavy yes, swing maneuver didn't help: still shouldnt have ripped the trailer apart like that.
Rough event for sure! -
Those trucks and trailers can take a beating if they aren't looked after properly. I seem to recall back home in BC that logging truck/trailer inspections were only valid for 6 months rather than 12 because of the off highway conditions they work in. Most long log trailers up in BC have solid mount, walking beam suspensions for better stability and longevity.
Dye Guardian Thanks this. -
My uncle rolled one several years back. On his the load shifted and over it went.
