BEWARE OF FALCON TRANSPORTAION!

    Falcon transportation is based out of Youngstown,Ohio. I worked for this company, doing short haul to the GM plant in Kansas City,KS. This company is by far the worst trucking company i have ever encountered. I am not a disgruntled employee, I am concerned for the well being and safety of the drivers that currently work for this company, doing the short haul to GM in Kansas City. Falcon has been operating out of Kansas City since October 2015. The equipment is unsafe and not DOT compliant. There management team in Kansas City is a complete joke. They are disorganized and not trained to handle the basic need to know information to manage a trucking terminal. Since i have started working for the company back in October 2015, the pay scale has changed five times. Every time the pay was changed the drivers were not informed of the changes until they received their paycheck, and noticed that they were not paid in full for the amount of money that was originally promised/ discussed. In addition to not being paid the management team will ask you to work over 12 hrs and tell you to add the overtime to the next day so you keep your logs legal, but you won't be compensated for the work you have done. Instead, some drivers have been accused of stealing hours. If you decide to work for this company which i strongly urge any driver not too, please keep a record of all conversations or interactions with the management team and recruiters. If you can take photos of any paperwork they give you in regards to your pay or the hours they ask you to work. Please do so, it is imperative you cover your ### because this company will screw you over in any way possible. Good luck and stay safe drivers!

    Nothing new here, falcon has been a crappy company since its existence way back when, they're situated between 2 cdl schools tdds and new castle school of trades so there's plenty of unsuspecting recruits to choose from

    Wish drivers would wake up and say no.doesn't make since making a profit for any companies and youre not getting paid for your services.I do not care how sweet talking a dispatcher or anyone at the company is,they can kiss my backside if they think I'm going to do any special favors for them.

    No they are not. Years ago they used to be called Compass.
    Was a union company. They closed that side down and opened up under Falcon, all non union.. Even when they were Compass they were a crap outfit

    Haha, I saw one of there trucks just this past weekend up in Toledo ohio. Truck looked to be a newer pete. The driver tho came In so fast & didn't have the trailer wheels locked when he stopped thetandams, almost came out the back of the trailer. Some how broke the scale & no need to say what that caused for the drivers after him time wise.. Finally got back to blue dock where he was & where he hit the tandams so hard it broke the ears off & the pins were under the track. He couldn't slide them. He came back inside & said he has now idea how that happen...
