Some days it would be easier to throw in the towel. I can't bring myself to do that with only a little over a year left .
Just keep thinking about the endgame .

 

Now the big bucks roll in.

 

I need to stop trying to solve other peoples problems and concentrate on my own. If I can help out without too much of a hassle I will, but in these crazy times I have to look out for me and my own.
I get into trouble when I agree to too many things.

 

Now let's take a deep cleansing breath (mixed with that leaking exhaust coming in) and try to focus on good things.

 

Got the call at 530am. No school for the girls today.
Sometimes I wish they'd just let me be surprised and let the kids find out from the TV news ticker or listen to the radio like we had to.
Although, I did end up going to school a couple of times because I missed the announcement they were closed. That was when we first moved to northern MI and didn't realize it was a common thing to happen in winter.

 

Layover pay kicked in today, as the "computers and phones are down" so I sat til this afternoon til I got a text to just head for a steelCase load to Michigan. Easy 175 mi deadhead, now I'm headed north. Hopeful I can grab a nice long run for the weekend to cover house bills due next week.
