Never did roofing as a kid, but baled hay.
When I wasn't baling hay I was working on the car crushing crew. Back when you had to take the tires off. I'm not sure which was worse, a day spent following the wagon throwing hundred pound bakes of alfalfa up, or throwing tires on the rim to the top of the pile all day. One thing is for sure, I was in EXCELLENT shape.

I agree on the work ethic. It also shows a guy how easy this job is compared to what alot of guys have to do to make a living. I often think about that when im having a less then banner day.truckdad, skootertrashr6, johndeere4020 and 1 other person Thank this.

I used to work hard. Then I tried working smart. Now I try to work as little as possible.
truckdad, skootertrashr6, rank and 5 others Thank this. -
You know what I like about flatbedding? The people.
I got my start pulling a reefer, and this small town kid just never got used to the people on the docks. Never understood why you would order something and then be mad when I bring it to you. It was always "us against them" and I didn't understand it.
Flatbedding seems so much more of a team effort. -
aint that the truth
