Sounds like you are lucky. I usually work 50 to 55, but its ok all time and a half after 40. I know a lot of guys who are pushed to their full 60.

well he said it was for a food company, idk that specific company but I know US foods near me you have to unload boxes to each place, if its like this I would think you could spend at least 3-4 hours a day unloading. just my opinion Idrk.

Yes, but your not getting it. After 60 hours on duty you can not drive any more. It does not matter how much time before that was driving or not driving. That would mean for his last 24 hours of work he could not drive at all

On duty not driving still counts against your 70 hours. Better fact check your self.

You guys crack me up gettin all legal on each other. If he's local and he returns to the same location every night and stays within 100 (might be 150, you legal eagles look it up) air miles of his location then he don't log it at all just fills out a time card.

    But what do I know.

You are correct , and had that info been provided it would be a non-issue. Good catch , BTW.

You forgot a very imporyant part, If you do that you must punch out within 12 hours of punching in.
    EDIT
And the 60/7 or 70/8 rule still applies under the 100 air mile exemption

It's out of their hands... How much OT we can get (too much) !!!!
I never run flat rate! Or cpm everything is btc only! In the city
Alot depends on where you live
I live in the motor city area so could pull auto frt but it's not worth it these trucking companies fight hard over the auto frt
..... LTL daily p&d is my choice
Solely because I'm a family man I work harder so I can see my babies every day not to mention all the big bucks I kill during bow season and all the monster bass I bust all summer .... LOL

There are many different avenues in driving jobs if I lived in the country I would probably be looking for something dedicated home every day if possible
