Fed Ex Freight has some terminals union. Started over a year ago. One of them is located in my area, out of Croydon, PA. Their part of local 107.
It's not happening happening over night, but it appears their switching over.

Here's a link that shows some of the terminals that are union.

I think anybody interested in Fed Ex Freight might wanna join now. I know a couple Fed Ex guys and they start off around $24-25 an hour. It might change if they turn union. New employees might have to start off like UPS Freight does where it might take years to reach top rate.

Well, since i'm snowed in this would probably be a good time to update:

i will have a better one soon that shows my real average per week---you have to remember the last two weeks of December we didn't work the full week.
Complaints:
Lots of pressure; upwards of 16-20+ stops per day with a 10am start time. Not all dock stops either.
That's my only real complaint. (hence, Russian Rabbit, a.k.a. Rushin' Rabbit)
Other minor stuff---i don't like the volvos or international tractors.
Compliments:
All-in-all, a pretty well run company. All of people think it's mgmt vs. workers, but i don't feel that way. Sure they get on your nerves every now and then, but what company doesn't have that?
i'll get into benefits when i get around to it.Sho Nuff Thanks this. -
i'm not really interested in dock work right now.Sho Nuff Thanks this. -

The last time I had a day like that it was with 22 stops, leaving the yard at 7:00. I got them all done, but it took until 5:00 to do it. -
We start at 10am but sometimes don't leave until 11-11:30 because the trailers aren't loaded yet. So, if i get 22 stops chances are great they won't all get off.
This is my only real complaint about the job and i think it may vary from terminal to terminal, but not 100% sure on this.
One of the corporate higher-ups came to visit and her response was that because we have next day airs we have to be able to service that. But the thing is i've only had one next day guaranteed delivery the whole time i've been here......
