I used the above - very helpful! I also read and took notes on the PA CDL manual, used the quizzes here and a couple other sites via Google search. Write down or type your notes - great aid for memory retention! I passed with all trucker endorsements before I even started school. You can too!

 

The problem with this is...do you see the RIGHT answers in your brain, or the WRONG ones? Memorizing all the answers doesn't help if you don't understand why they are RIGHT. You get in The DMV...are taking the test & remember seeing all 4 answers. 3 of them are wrong ones. But which is which?!

The program I linked explains why the correct answeres are correct. If you don't understand why the answers are right...what's the point?

 

Knowing why the answers are correct is key. The questions can be tricky. That's why reading the CDL manual is so helpful. Good luck!

I find the best way to study is not to guess at the answer. Look up the correct answer in the state manual. That way you only know the right answer. I do it that way to help know the book as its read. Here in Georgia the test is tricky.
Read the question three times. Make sure you know what it's asking.
Read answers from the bottom up.
Eliminate the answer you know isn't right.
If you have to guess then pick the answer that has the most detail.

 

I understand your concern, but the test is for knowledge level understanding only.
Application and comprehension levels of learning will never come from words on paper.
That's all, and it's psychologically the correct answer based on teaching skills.

Nope.
Skip answers you don't know when taking the real test, and come back to them once the other questions are answered.
Most times, you will get enough right to pass and move on.
These are simple knowledge level tests, not comprehension level tests.

 

Read the book. That is the absolute best way to study.
