Yes it does has a nss. That switch might be faulty.
-
where at? at the brake pedal?
-
Thst I'm not sure, could be on the trans somewhere, you would have to call fliner or maybe someone here knows
-
ok thankyou. we have been trying to find it. no luck yet
-
don't hurt to check your ground wires

What engine do you have? Do you have any trans codes? That matters as far as the troubleshooting is concerned. This is basically how it works. Trans sees neutral and will send power and ground to a start enable relay. It is located in the PTPDM (powertrain pdm) left front firewall area. Then when you turn the key to the crank position the Sam Cab sends out a crank signal to the engine. The engine sees that signal and then sends out the start signal to the start enable relay. This is assuming you have a EPA10 DD engine. Check pins 85, and 86 of that relay with the key on. If it has 12v then check pin 30 of that relay while trying to crank. Depending what you have at the relay, and what pins has power and what pins do not will determine where you need to go next.
QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -
