Found out my load picks up at 11pm tonite, not 11am like I thought. Maybe thats better as the workers will have more time to clean up the roads before I have to get out there in it.

When you hit I40 and Meridian, face north and wave at my brother for me.
jaso37 Thanks this. -
Made it to OKC just in time to watch the first game. Been running hard the last few days messed up my numbers so I only have 6-7 hours to run tomorrow. I'll get some good sleep in.

Ahhhh but at least you're runnin hard out there and not tryin to figure out how to deal with the mess back east hey? I ran down to texas ten days ago and was gonna head east an then north but saw the forecasts last week and decided to run New Mexico and back to texas for a while, let the storm settle itself out. I DID run 69 to 44 and then across to 55 to get to chicago, instead of comin across Arkansas and catching 55 to 57. Had breakfast at hoods in htq's neck of the woods. Saw 6 big riggers tipped on their sides in the median today, can't figure out why, when I parked last night in mount Vernon mo the weather was dang near perfect. Anyways stay safe hey?HometimeQueen and jaso37 Thank this.

Yes I'm lucky this time. I've been in a few storms this season but avoided that one. My company doesn't run East coast very often. The north west keeps me entertained.
In Effingham, Il. For the night. A short 280 tomorrow. Just got an oil change, new air filters(cab and engine). Already feel a difference. Let's see where I go next, hopefully right back to CA.HometimeQueen and scottlav46 Thank this. -
lol my company don't even have the 'east' on our cab cards god blessumHometimeQueen and jaso37 Thank this.

In Moriaty, NM. Or spelled something like that. Sounds like a place out of The Lord of the Rings movies. Nice night. 50-60 degrees outside. Open windows in back enjoy some nice fresh air.
scottlav46 Thanks this. -

Made it up to Horsham PA, but it was on Tuesday morning as my truck broke down at the QVC yard in Suffolk VA Monday at 2am. Snapped alternator belt which broke my radiator line and my antifreeze leaked out. My company sent another tractor out via wrecker, but the wrecker broke down too. 20 hours later, the wrecker showed up with the broken wrecker and my replacement tractor in tow. Another hour later, I was on my way to Horsham with load. Drove through the night and got there after 530 am. Dropped my trailer, hooked up to another and my drives got stuck in the snow. Luckily they had rocksalt and unhooked that trailer and found another empty and headed to Elkton MD for my 10. Got a reload in Belcamp MD at National Gypsum and headed to Garysburg NC Lowes RDC. Drop and hooked at 3am and headed to our Rocky Mount dropyard to drop this loaner. My wife met me there at 4am, whisked me away and then went to IHOP for breakfast. 70 more miles to the house and vacation. Currently in Kissimmee FLA (yeah we drove) visiting my parents and brother. 800 miles this week plus a day of breakdown. That's trucking! Deuces!!
